i’m going to take a minute to brag about my valentine’s day because fuck you, i can. i had some lovely valentines this year. i had a skype date with a long distance valentine. i had a fantastic and kind friend drop off a rose in a glass bottle filled with camera film. my best friend drew me a bath and gave me 30 minutes of me time with chocolate and a glass of wine, and we had pizza (our valentine tradition). my sweet mother got me a valentine’s day present and spelled ‘sweetest’ wrong on the package. i made cupcakes for a ton of my friends and delivered them to each person today and yesterday.
i am amazed by how much love i have in my life. it feels so goddamn good to know there are people who care about me, and the rest of the good feelings come from reciprocating it.
hell yeah, i’m bragging.
